ABOUT

I’ve spent the past 12+ years working in the video game and animation industry where I focus primarily on character rigging and animation tool development, but also have experience with character animation and physics/dynamics. Before getting into Technical Art, I was a Cartoonist and Illustrator. In my spare time I love working on portraits (mostly posted on my IG).

I love staying active and you’ll often find me running with the SF Rec. Track Team or competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with my teammates. I currently live in San Francisco with my wife and little black cat.

Speaking Engagements

It has been a pleasure speaking to students on career development throughout my own course. Key subjects I speak on include career entry, options available, and stages growth as an artist from childhood to well into your career. Educating other artists and developers about the various opportunities and ways to enter the Game and Animation field is important to me as it’s often not talked about. I believe that exposure to multiple disciplines and the knowledge of the options available can lead to more successful careers and happier lives. Please feel free to contact me about speaking opportunities.
